DAY 01 | Arrive Rio de Janeiro
Rio de janeiro, Brazil
Welcome to Brazil! On arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Rio de Janeiro is best known for its sparkling beaches, carnival with its effervescent samba dancers and it’s well preserved tropical forests.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

DAY 02 | Rio de Janeiro

Excursion to Corcovado Hill and Sugar Loaf with lunch (Seat in coach).
Today, visit the most famous landmarks of the city and see the natural beauty of Rio de Janeiro. After a scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, passengers arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado Hill. Embark on a comfortable train that ascends the mountain, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located 2,300 ft above sea level. The Christ statue, known as the “Wonder of Rio”, was recently elected as one of the 7 “New Wonders of the World”. On arrival at the top, guests can use the panoramic elevators or escalators to arrive at the foot of the statue. There, passengers can enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is called the “Marvelous City”. Afterwards, descend the mountain and stop for a delicious Brazilian Barbecue lunch.
Later, visit the world famous ‘Pao de Acucar’, (Sugar Loaf Mountain), which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of a concentrated, refined sugar loaf. The journey to the top is made in glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 metres above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its surrounding islands.
From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable-car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 metres above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, Corcovado Mountain and downtown Rio de Janeiro.

DAY 03 | Rio de Janeiro

The day is at leisure to enjoy this wonderful city and beaches. In the evening, we recommend you to take an optional tour to a Brazilian restaurant for dinner followed by a Ginga Tropical Show, an experience of live music, brilliant costumes, rhythmic drumming and dancing!

DAY 04 | Rio de Janeiro – Lima
Lima, Peru
Early this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima.

Note: Flight cost is not included.

On arrival in Lima, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
City tour of Lima (Seat in coach).
Later, explore the town of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site packed with fascinating historic buildings.
Visit its beautiful colonial architecture, beautiful temples and churches, residential neighborhoods, admirable landscapes around the sea and other tourist attractions of the capital. Proceed to the archaeological center of the Huaca Pucllana with its pyramids (considered a sacred place), surpassing the financial area of San Isidro with direction to the historical center of the city. Pass through the Basilic of Lima, the Cathedral, Government Palace and Cityhall palace. Later, visit Santo Domingo Convent, one of the most impressive religious architectural complexes of the 17th century. It contains the relics of the three Peruvian saints, Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martin de Porres and San Juan Macias, and a library with a collection of 25 thousand old books.

DAY 05 | Lima – Cusco

Early this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco.
Note: Flight cost is not included.
On arrival in Cusco, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a city tour of Cusco and to the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman (Seat in coach).
On arrival in Cusco, embark on a city tour. Start your tour visiting the Coricancha, also known as “The Temple of the Sun” (Quri Kancha ‘Golden Temple’), which was built by the Inca Pachacutec and at the arrival of the Spaniards became the basis for the construction of the Santo Domingo Convent. Here, during the Inca Empire reverence was surrendered to the sun (“Inti”), and there was a time when it was covered with gold. Then visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument in the Plaza de Armas. Its construction began in 1560 and ended only in 1654. For this purpose hundreds of stones were extracted and transported from Sacsayhuaman fortress under the command of the Ecclesiastical Council. You will continue your tour to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic buildings of the Incas (located just minutes from town center) built by the Inca Pachacutec in the fifteenth century. This is a huge fortress built with large stones whose transportation remains still a mystery. Each June 24th, during the winter solstice, the feast of Inti Raymi is recreated here, where the sun is worshipped. Continue to Quenqo, located 4 kilometers from the city of Cusco. Quenqo is an archaeological complex of mainly religious use where it is believed agricultural rituals were performed. Finally get to know Puka Pucara, located 7 kilometers from the city of Cusco. Puka Pucara, which means “Red Fortress”, was an architectural complex of alleged military use with multiple spaces, plazas, baths, aqueducts, walls and towers, and it is believed the entourage of the Inca used it while he rested in Tambomachay.
Later, you will be transferred to the hotel in Sacred Valley.

DAY 06 | Cusco – Sacred Valley

Transfer from hotel in Cusco to hotel in Sacred Valley, en-route enjoy visit the beautiful town of Chinchero & Living Museum of Yucay (Seat in coach).
This morning, you will be transferred from hotel in Cusco to hotel in Sacred Valley and en-route enjoy a visit to the beautiful town of Chinchero & Living Museum of Yucay.
Visit the town of Chinchero, a traditional Cusco urban centre located at an elevated point with a beautiful view of the valley. The inhabitants of this area preserve the artisan traditions and the inherited knowledge of the Incas and display them in their clothes and customs. In Chinchero there are also archaeological remains and a beautiful seventeenth-century church, one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru.
Later proceed to the Living Museum of Yucay. The museum is a centre Andean traditions interpretations, where demonstrations of the elaboration of textile work, adobe, pottery and silverware are carried out in the same way in which they used to in antiquity; an original recreation of Inca traditions. Also, residents of the museum include llamas, sheep and alpacas, and they can be fed! Transfer to Ollantaytambo and some free time. Later, visit the town and local archaeological site, inhabited uninterruptedly since Inca times, and climb the iconic fortress, built next to a mountain.

DAY 07 | Sacred Valley – Cusco
Cusco, Peru
Today, transfer from Sacred Valley to Cusco via Aguas Calientes.
You depart on the Vistadome train to the town of Aguas Calientes. During the journey, we will appreciate the hanging bridge that signals the start of the Inca Trail. The railway follows the course of the Urubamba or Vilcanota river climbing down and entering a canyon until we reach Aguas Calientes, the town that is located at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain.
In the afternoon, ride back to the town of Machu Picchu (former – Aguas Calientes) to board the return train.
Arrive at the station and proceed to the hotel.
Enjoy an excursion of Machu Picchu by mini bus (Seat in coach).
We will board our mini-buses to climb to the remnants of the Sacred Citadel of the Incas, “Machu Picchu”. Visit to this incredible archeological site that keeps indescribable magic and energy for those who haven’t lived this experience before. We will tour the terraces, corridors, temples, the solar clock or “Intihuatana”, and other sacred places kept by this citadel.

DAY 08 | Cusco – Puerto Iguazu

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguazu, Brazil via Lima.
Note: Flight cost is not included.
On arrival at Foz do Iguazu, you will be met and transferred to hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

DAY 09 | Puerto Iguazu
Iguazu, Argentina
Visit to the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side (Seat in coach).
Today, enjoy a full day visit to the Iguazu Falls, on the Argentine side.
Depart from the hotel to visit the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls, located within the National Park Iguazu. With an extension of 67 hectares, the park has been declared a Natural Patrimony of Humanity by the UNESCO. The Falls are integrated by 275 waterfalls that fall from an average altitude of seventy metres. The starting point is the “Central Station”, from which visitors can choose to take the train that goes to “Falls Station” or the one that goes to “Devil’s Throat Station”.

DAY 10 | Puerto Iguazu – Buenos Aires

Later, transfer to Iguazu international airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Enjoy a half day excursions to falls, on the Brazilian side (Seat in coach).
Today, proceed on a half day excursions to falls, on the Brazilian side.
Depart from the hotel crossing the bridges Puente Tancredo Neves and Juan D. Peron that join the Argentinian city of Puerto Iguazu with the Brazilian city of Foz de Iguazu. The trip continues towards the National Park Foz do Iguacu, one of the biggest vegetation reserves in Brazil, until arriving at the visitors’ centre. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Isla San Martin and of the most majestic waterfalls, The Bossetti, The San Martin and the Three Musketeers.
Towards the end of the walk is the view point, from which you can appreciate a unique view of the Devil’s Throat, which, at this point, is only about 150 metres away. At the end of the walk there is a long stairway which leads to the place from which visitors get their transfer back to the hotel.

DAY 11 | Buenos Aires

Embark on an orientation city tour of Buenos Aires (Seat in coach).
Today, enjoy an orientation city tour. See the symbol of the city, The Obelisk, visit different city squares Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martin and Plaza Congreso and ride along the several avenues. Proceed to the Historical Centre, La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat the elegant Palermo and Recoleta.

Enjoy the Night of Tango (Seat in coach).
In the evening, fuel your passion with a Night of Tango in Buenos Aires, complete with a beginner’s tango lesson, Argentinean dinner and some magnificent dance show.

DAY 12 | Buenos Aires
Buenos aires, Argentina
The day is at leisure to explore the city or take an optional half day excursion to Tigre Delta area. Proceed to ride along Costanera Avenue, parallel to the Rio de la Plata, and head out of the city centre to San Isidro. See its cathedral and the many mansions inhabited by old aristocratic families before continuing on to Tigre. Here, board a catamaran for a 40 minutes cruise through the delta. Experience how people live on the islands and interact with floating services. At the end of the boat ride, return to the port to board your coach.

DAY 13 | Depart Buenos Aires
Buenos aires, Argentina
Today, you will be transferred to the airport in Buenos Aires for your flight back home or onward journey.
