DAY 01 | Arrive Madrid

Welcome to Spain – The land of Flamenco and bull-fighting!
On arrival in Madrid, you will be welcomed by our local Cox & Kings representative and transferred to your hotel.
Madrid was once the richest and most powerful city in the world. The power and glory of Madrid is reflected in its parks, plazas, boulevards and in the pride and panache of today’s Madrilenos.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this vibrant city. This afternoon, take an optional tour to Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site or spend the evening sampling tapas. It is the ideal way to experience Spanish culture and discover its enchanting bars and taverns.

DAY 02 | Madrid

Enjoy a city tour of Madrid (Seat in coach).
Discover the culturally diverse character of Madrid on this panoramic sightseeing bus tour of the city’s highlights. Take a panoramic tour of Madrid by coach to see its exquisite Renaissance and Baroque-style buildings. Become engrossed in Jose Bonaparte’s architectural work of the 19th century, including the world-famous Prado Museum. Visit the modern and contemporary avenues of Madrid.

DAY 03 | Madrid – Seville
Seville, Spain
This morning, transfer from hotel to train station in Madrid to board train for Seville.
Embark onboard the high speed AVE train and enjoy travelling from Madrid to Seville.
On arrival in Seville, proceed and check in at the hotel.
Discover Seville on a city tour (Seat in coach).
In the afternoon explore Seville on a city tour. The highlights include a visit to the Plaza de Espana, Gothic Cathedral, Giralda Tower, Golden Tower and the Santa Cruz Quarter. Later, enjoy cruise on Guadalquivir River and admire the bridges, monuments along the banks as you sail along.

DAY 06 | Granada – Barcelona
Barcelona, Spain
Later, transfer from hotel to airport in Granada for your flight to Barcelona.
Note: Flight cost not included.
On arrival in Barcelona, transfer to your hotel on your own.
Embark for a visit to Alhambra palace and Generalife (Seat in coach).
In the morning, explore Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is perched high on the hill overlooking the city. It is indisputably the most well-known monument of the city and one of the most visited in Spain. Admire the decadent rooms inside the Nasrid Palaces like the Hall of Ambassadors (Salon de los Embajadores), Myrtle Courtyard (Patio of los Arrayanes), and marvel at the architecture of Pedro Machuca at the Palace of Charles. After exploring the palaces, continue to discover the Generalife Gardens. Admire the abundant flora, distinctive water features and tour the beautiful courtyards the Patio de la Acequia and the Patio de la Sultana.
