DAY 01 | Arrive Auckland
Auckland, New Zealand
Kia Ora! Welcome to New Zealand, the youngest country on Earth!

On arrival in Auckland, ‘The City of Sails’, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel.
Auckland is a blend of islands, Polynesian culture, glistening harbours and a modern city environment.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city.

DAY 02 | Auckland – Waitomo – Matamata – Rotorua
Rotorua, New Zealand
Transfer from hotel in Auckland to hotel in Rotorua, en route visit Waitomo Glow-worm Caves and the Hobbiton Movie Set (Seat in coach).
Today transfer from Auckland to Rotorua. Travel through the lush farmland of the Waikato and King Country regions. Drive past Rangiriri, the location of an historic Maori Land Wars site.
On arrival in the small town of Waitomo, enjoy a guided tour through the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with their amazing stalactites, stalagmites and other limestone formations. Embark on a silent boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto, a subterranean cavern lit up by the lights of thousands of tiny glowworms. Later, proceed on a scenic drive across the Kaimai ranges and discover the huge, picturesque farmland near Matatmata, where the famous movie Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit were filmed. Learn in detail as to how this beautiful farmland was transformed into the Shire from Middle-earth. After you’ve had your fill of movie magic continue your journey to Rotorua, passing through the beautiful Fitzgerald Glade where trees arch over the road to form a tunnel of natural greenery.
On arrival in Rotorua, proceed and check in to the hotel.

DAY 03 | Rotorua
Rotorua, New Zealand
Discover the Te Puia Thermal Reserve followed by a visit to Rainbow Springs Nature Park and Agrodome Sheep Show (Seat in coach).
This morning, explore Rotorua’s geothermal wonderland. Visit the Te Puia Thermal Reserve to marvel at boiling mudpools, roaring geysers and hot springs. Continue to Rainbow Springs Nature Park to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife before proceeding to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the sheep industry.
Note – There is no drop at the hotel. Passengers have to go on their own.

The rest of the day is at leisure to for independent activities. You can opt to relax in the Polynesian pool or the healing thermal waters.

DAY 04 | Rotorua – Queenstown
Queenstown, New Zealand
This morning, transfer from hotel to airport in Rotorua to board your flight to Queenstown.
Travel from Rotorua to Queenstown.
Note: Flight cost not included.
The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the city.

DAY 05 | Milford Sound
Queenstown, New Zealand
Enjoy a cruise on the Milford Sound fiord (Seat in coach).
Enjoy a scenic drive to the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden and onward to Lake Te Anau. As you enter the Eglinton Valley marvel at the breathtaking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Embark on a cruise aboard the Milford Sound Red Boat to view the pristine scenery, towering peaks, waterfalls, cliffs, marine and bird life. Sail past the incredible Mitre peak, Bowen Falls, Stirling Falls and Seal point.. In Maori legend, this landscape was created by Tu Te Raki Whanoa, a godly figure who carved the fiords with a magical daze.
Later, return to your hotel in Queenstown.

DAY 06 | Queenstown
Queenstown, New Zealand
The day is at leisure to explore the city or you can opt to enjoy various activities such as bungy jumping, jet boating, white water rafting and gondola rides.

DAY 07 | Queenstown – Glacier Region
Glacier region, New Zealand
Transfer from hotel in Queenstown to hotel in Glacier Region ,en route visit Lake Wanaka and Westland National Park (Seat in coach).
Today transfer from Queenstown to the Glacier Region. Drive along the shores of Lakes Wanaka through the historic Haast Pass, to the World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue up to the west coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers.
On arrival in Glacier Region, proceed and check in to the hotel.

The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the city.

DAY 08 | Glacier Region – Greymouth – Christchurch
Christchurch, New Zealand
Transfer from hotel in Glacier Region to train station in Greymouth for your train to Christchurch.
Travel from Greymouth to Christchurch by world famous Tranz Alpine train.
On arrival proceed from train station to hotel in Christchurch.

DAY 09 | Depart Christchurch
Christchurch, New Zealand
Today, you will be transferred to the airport in Christchurch for your flight back home or onward journey.
