El Calafate is a town near the edge of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field in the Argentine province of Santa Cruz. Mainly known as the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park, home to the massive Perito Moreno Glacier, whose ever-shifting icy landscape is popular for hiking and sightseeing.

Discover the port city of Puerto Natales located on the Senoret Channel in Chile’s southern Patagonia. It’s the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park to the northwest, and the port for boats touring the Patagonian fjords. Santiago is a metropolis with a view.

The capital city of Chile, Santiago is a metropolis of syncopated cultural currents, madhouse parties, expansive museums and top-flight restaurant.

Itinerary

DAY 01 | Arrive El Calafate
El calafate, Argentina
Welcome to Argentina!! Upon arrival at the airport in El Calafate, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to the hotel.
El Calafate is a small town located where the Santa Cruz plateau meets the Andes and is the gateway to the Perito Moreno Glacier.

DAY 02 | El Calafate

Explore the Perito Moreno Glacier (Seat in coach).
Today post breakfast, venture into the depths of the UNESCO-listed Los Glaciares National Park which shows a scenario of mountains, lakes and woods, including a large portion of the Andes practically under ice and snow to the west, and the arid Patagonian steppe to the east.
On the southern area of the Park, the most famous glacier can be seen: Perito Moreno. It is known because of its dynamic changes, which produces a cyclic phenomenon of forward and backward movement, with spectacular ice falls from its front walls. Take in the views from the glacier balconies and follow your guide on a circuit of the south wall.
One can also explore the Fitz Roy massif and trek its imposing peaks, marvel at Argentina’s largest lake or join an expedition on to the Southern Patagonian Ice Cap.

DAY 03 | El Calafate – Puerto Natales
Puerto natales, Chile
This morning, check out and proceed to Puerto Natales.
Note:
The bus from El Calafate to Puerto Natales operates from Oct to Mar, from April to September one has to travel by private vehicle.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this colourful town.
You can walk along the windy coastal road on the shore of Senoret Channel to see black-necked swans and delight in the stunning red sunsets and experience life in Patagonia.

DAY 04 | Puerto Natales
Puerto natales, Chile
Explore Torres del Paine National Park followed by a visit to Milodon Caves (Seat in coach).
Today, get ready to witness the turquoise waters, glaciers and towering granite horns of Torres del Paine National Park. The jaw-dropping landscapes of this eighth wonder of the world are humbling indeed. The impressive Andean massif, whose summits have an impact on everyone who visits the park, is surrounded by glaciers such as the Grey, and waterfalls, lagoons and lakes like the Pehoe. All of these together with the varied flora and fauna make this place one of the most renowned in the world for its richness and natural beauty.
Later, stop at the Milodon Cave Natural Monument. It includes several caves as well as a monolithic rock formation known as The Devil’s Chair. On entering the monument, be greeted by a full-size replica of the mylodon sloth, standing 13 feet (4 meters) tall. The Milodon was said to resemble a giant bear, though the mammal was in fact a very large herbivore that went extinct over 10,000 years ago. A viewing point atop the cathedral-sized cave offers views of the surrounding mountains, glaciers and the Eberhard Fjord.

DAY 05 | Puerto Natales – Santiago

Early morning, depart from Puerto Natales to airport in Punta Arenas to board the flight to Santiago.
Note:
The flight cost not included.
On arrival in Santiago, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Enjoy a panoramic city tour of Santiago (Seat in coach).
Later, explore the bustling capital city of Santiago on a tour.
Discover the main streets of the civic district of the city of Santiago in Chile. See the Cerro Santa Lucia, the Palacio de la Moneda and the Plaza de Armas, around which is the Cathedral, the National Historical Museum and the Central Post.
The tour then continues to Forest Park, one of the most visited parks by citizens and tourists, either for its connection to the most important neighbourhoods such as Lastarria, Bellas Artes and its historical centre; or its fun and attractive avenues to just take a stroll.
Then, stop at the Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts, home to one of the world’s largest collections of paintings, sculptures and tapestries of the renowned artist – Jean Lucrat.
Finally, discover the bohemian neighbourhood of Bellavista, a lively area renowned for its numerous restaurants, boutiques, avant-garde galleries, bars and clubs.

The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the city.
Santiago is one of those metropolitan joys, where the more you look, the more you find.

DAY 06 | Santiago
Santiago, Chile
Explore the renowned winery of Concha Y Toro (Seat in coach).
Today, sip on the latest vintages from ‘Concha y Toro,’ one of Chile’s most famous wine producers on this exciting wine tour.
Enter the scene of the Chilean culinary culture and learn the processes to create the brew of the best quality. Throughout its 130-year history, Concha y Toro has become synonymous with tradition, receiving numerous awards for the quality of its wines and the image of the company.
Soak up great views of the surrounding Maipo Valley as you explore the winery’s park, gardens, and striking architecture. Then, tour the cellars of the winemaker’s famous ‘Casillero del Diablo,’ and enjoy wine tastings.

The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

DAY 07 | Depart Santiago
Santiago, Chile
Today, you will be transferred to the airport in Santiago for your flight back home or onward journey.
