HOLY MT KAILASH HELI TOUR VIA KATHMANDU: Yatra starts and ends at Kathmandu. On this yatra maximum journey will be carried out by scheduled flight and special chartered Helicopter flight. We use normal scheduled flight on Kathmandu/ Nepalgunj & Nepalgunj/Simikot sectors and on Simikot /Hilsa/Simikot sector we use special chartered helicopter flight. Simikot is rain pro area and chances of whether problem and flight cancellation stays higher than other areas. Simikot also falls in restricted zone where special
restricted zone permit is applicable. Foreign nationals including Indian nationals cannot travel without permit for which the permit fees in included in yatra cost. We have designed this itinerary keeping in mind the age & religious beliefs of Yatries in order to make their yatra & stay comfortable.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (L, D)
Welcome to ‘Holiday Breaks Kailash Mansarovar Yatra – By Helicopter’ tour! On arrival at the airport in Kathmandu, post customs and immigrations, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Note: In the evening, attend a briefing on the Kailash trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj (B, L, D)
This morning visit the Pashupatinath Temple. It’s one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of
Kathmandu. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. The temple is listed in
UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Later drive to the airport in Kathmandu to board your flight
to Nepalgunj (150 mts) Flight 45 mins. Overnight in Nepalgunj.
Day 03: Nepalgunj – Simikot (B, L, D)
This morning, drive to the airport to board your flight to Simikot (3000 mts). Flight 45 mins. On
arrival at Simikot, proceed to your hotel. Post Lunch proceed to hike to the Shiva Mandir and
get acclimatized to high altitude. The rest of the day is at leisure for leisure activities. Overnight in Simikot.
Day 04: Simikot – Hilsa (By Helicopter) – Purang (B, L, D)
After breakfast, check out and drive to the airport to board the helicopter from Simikot for a 15
minute ride to Hilsa (3705 m). Complete the Nepal side immigration formalities i.e. take an exit stamp on your passport and proceed to Hilsa. On reaching Hilsa, cross the bridge and enter the
Chinese side to reach Sher village to complete Chinese immigration formalities. After the
immigration formalities, drive to Taklakot also known as Purang (4,025 m/ 30 km/ approx 1
hour Drive) check into hotel. Overnight in Purang.
Day 05: Purang – Mansarovar (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to Mansarovar (4500 m/ approx. 3 hours drive) to get your first view of
the holy Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar Lake. En route enjoy a Parikrama of the Mansarovar Lake and take a dip at the holy lake to perform Puja. Post Parikrama; get transferred to the guesthouse in Mansarovar. The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. Overnight in the Mansarovar.
Day 06: Mansarovar – Darchen (B, L, D)
The morning is at leisure for independent activities. Post lunch, drive to Darchen en route visit
Chiu Gompa (30 km 1 hour) (4675 m). On arrival check in to the hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities Overnight in Darchen.
Day 07: Darchen – Yam Dwar – (Trek to) Diraphuk (4750 Mts) (B, L, D)
Today, morning drive to Tarboch Flag Pole the first prostration point, -an auspicious gateway
and the sky burial ground. Then, visit Yam Dwar (4675 m) and further visit to Sershong (8 km). Start your Trek to Diraphuk (4765 m / walk 3-4 hours). Overnight in Diraphuk.
Day 08: Diraphuk – Zuthulphuk(B, L, D)
Today’s trek is amongst the most difficult day of the yatra including a steep climb up to Dolma
La Pass (5650 mts), the highest altitude of your Parikrama. Stay here for offering prayers and to
relax. Later, get transferred to the guest house in Zuthulphuk.
Day 09: Zuthulphuk – Darchen – Purang (B, L, D)
This morning, the Parikrama ends near Darchen (4664 Mts, 14 Km 3-4 Hrs) & drive to Purang
(150 Kms) the rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight in Purang.
Day 10: Purang – Hilsa – Simikot – Nepalgunj (B, L, D)
Today, drive to the airport in Hilsa to board the helicopter to Simikot & further fly to Nepalgunj. On arrival transfer from the airport to hotel in Nepalgunj and check in.
Overnight in Nepalgunj.
Day 11: Nepalgunj – Kathmandu (B, L, D)
After breakfast proceed to the airport in Nepalgunj to board the flight to Kathmandu. On arrival
transfer from airport to hotel in Kathmandu.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu (B)
Today, bid farewell to ‘Holiday BreaksKailash Mansarovar Yatra – By Helicopter’ tour, as you
get transferred to the airport in Kathmandu for your flight to back home. We are confident you
will join us again, sometime soon…
