Day 1
ARRIVE COLOMBO – ONTO KANDY (APPROX 3HRS 30MINS)
On arrival in Colombo, you will be met by our driver cum guide who will assist and drive you to Kandy. En-route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, Afterwards proceed to Kandy. In the evening enjoy cultural show enhancing the rich and vibrant culture of Sri Lanka. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 2
KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (APPROX. 2HRS 30MINS)
Today proceed to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit a Tea Plantation, take a tour to the cold and misty hills that take pride of an ultimate tea tour, Or just step into a tea factory processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3
NUWARA ELIYA – YALA NATIONAL PARK (APPROX. 4HRS)
This morning, drive to Yala via Ella gap to see the mighty Rawana Fall, the waterfall measures approximately 25 m in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop, arrive into Yala in the evening. Overnight in Yala.
Day 4
YALA NATIONAL PARK
Today, Explore the largest national park in Sri Lanka, the Yala National Park. Home to wild elephants, wild boars, buffaloes, leopards, bears, deer, crocodiles and a large flock of indigenous birds. Proceed to Kataragama, a pilgrimage town formed around the story of Kataragama and his battles with the forces of darkness. Overnight in Yala.
Day 5
YALA NATIONAL PARK – BENTOTA (APPROX. 04HRS)
Today drive to Bentota via Galle which is a city situated on the south - western tip of Sri Lanka, 119 km from Colombo and Hikkaduwa which is the island's most developed beach resort. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 6
BENTOTA
The day is free at leisure. Or take an optional trip to Balapitiya for a River Safari. Enjoy a two hour boat trip to Madu river, where you come experience day-to-day activities of villagers on the island. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 7
BENTOTA – COLOMBO (APPROX. 1HR 40MIN)
This morning, you will drive to Colombo. Enjoy a brief city tour of Colombo with shopping. Visit Dutch-Portuguese Fort area, Mosques, Churches, Temples, the Independence Square and the National Museum later enjoy time at Colombo shopping malls. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 8
DEPART COLOMBO
Today you have time free until departure, you will be transferred to Colombo Airport for your flight back home.
