Day 1
Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok - Pickup
Approx Distance: 128 Kms • Est. Travel Time: 5 hours
Meet and Greet on arrival at Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2
Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir - Excursion
Approx Distance: 53 Kms • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours ( One way )
After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 Kms. / 02 Hrs. from Gangtok) and further drive to New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 Kms. / 01 Hrs. from Tsomgo Lake). Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing. Due to winter season (heavy snow) vehicle will be able to drive till Snow point on the way to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir.
Day 3
Gangtok - Fullday Sightseeing
Est. Travel Time: 6 hours
After breakfast Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dulChorten, Gonjang Monastery and Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 4
Gangtok to Darjeeling - Transfer
Approx Distance: 110 Km • Est. Travel Time: 4 hours
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 Ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 5
Darjeeling - Fullday Sightseeing with Tiger Hill
Approx Distance: 130 Km • Est. Travel Time: 8 hours
Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of token, if not possible at the time of Sunrise, then it will be covered in day time.) and then back to hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (Note: Closed on 19th of Every Month), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple(Peace Pagoda). Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Note: Darjeeling ropeway will be on direct payment basis. It has limited cabins (Approx. 8 and per cabin 4 persons can be accommodated), resulting in long queues due to high tourist volume. Be patient with potential delays. It could also impact your schedule for other sightseeing activities due to time constraints.
Day 6
Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport - Drop
Approx Distance: 75 Kms • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours
After breakfast Checkout from hotel and take, the departure transfers to Bagdogra International Airport for your onward journey.
