Itineraries
Day 1
ARRIVE CAPE TOWN
On arrival in Cape Town, you will be met and transferred by to your hotel. The day is free to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 2
CAPE TOWN
This morning, see South Africa’s magnificent sights, on the full day Cape Peninsula Tour. Visit Hout Bay, The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island (Weather permitting), Cape Point. Click the penguins at Boulders Beach, The New Lighthouse, ascend to the top by the Funicular, and visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (time permitting) . Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 3
CAPE TOWN
The day is free. OR take an optional Wineland Tour of the Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch winelands, a perfect for wine lovers. OR take an optional tour to visit Robben Island, used as a prison for nearly 400yrs, where the world’s most famous prisoner Nelson Mandela was kept for 27yrs. Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 4
CAPE TOWN – OUDTSHOORN
Today, proceed to Oudtshoorn, renowned as the feather capital of the world. Visit an Ostrich Farm for some unique experiences, continue to Cango Caves one of the world’s greatest limestone formation, next visit Cango Wildlife Ranch famous for its Cheetah Conservation programme. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 5
OUDTSHOORN - KNYSNA
Your odyssey down the beautiful Garden Route! Enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery to Wilderness and Knysna. You have free to explore the quaint town of Knysna. In the evening take the Sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. Overnight in Knysna.
Day 6
KNYSNA - GEORGE - JOHANNESBURG - SUN CITY
Day 7
SUN CITY
The day is free to enjoy the entertainment complex resort of Sun City. Visit the Valley of Waves and Water world, the rumbling Bridge of Time and the Palace of the Lost City. You also have the option of visiting the Pilanesberg Game Reserve for a jungle safari. Overnight in Sun City.
Day 8
SUN CITY – JOHANNESBURG
Today, you will travel to Pretoria, South Africa political capital for a brief city tour. Later travel towards Johannesburg visit Gold Reef City, built to replicate an old mining town. Walk through the original homes of the miners and mine bosses, watch a gold bar being poured and then descend into the depths of a real gold mine. Overnight in Johannesburg.
Day 9
JOHANNESBURG - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Today, drive to Kruger National Park, the world renowned offers wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. On arrival check-in at your accommodation. Later in the afternoon enjoy game drive from your vehicle (time permitting). Overnight in Kruger National Park.
Day 10
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Today enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Kruger has more species of Wildlife than any other game sanctuary in Africa and its here that you see the ‘Big Five’. Overnight in Kruger National Park.
Day 11
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – JOHANNESBURG
Today you travel back to Johannesburg via the scenic panoramic route. Overnight in Johannesburg.
Day 12
DEPART JOHANNESBURG
This morning you will be transferred by hotel shuttle service to Johannesburg airport for your flight back home. (A Private transfer can be arranged at an additional charge.)
