Day 1
ARRIVE INNSBRUCK
On arrival in Innsbruck, the capital of the Alps, proceed from the train station to the hotel on your own. This evening, enjoy wonderful views of the landscape as you ascend the highest view point – Hafelekar at 2256 meter above sea level by a Nordkette cable car. Overnight stay in Innsbruck.
Day 2
INNSBRUCK
Today, visit the Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens. A world of fantasy, an adventure museum with crystals, light and sound designs. Some of the highlights include the world’s largest crystal, a wall of crystals, a crystal dome and works by Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol. Overnight stay in Innsbruck.
Day 3
INNSBRUCK – ZELL AM SEE
This morning travel to the lake town of Zell am See, a quintessential Austrian resort with a lake on one side and an impressive mountain hinterland on the other. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Zell am See.
Day 4
ZELL AM SEE
Today, embark on an optional boat ride around the crystal-clear lake Zell or just relax taking in fresh air in this “climatic Spa” town. Overnight stay in Zell am See.
Day 5
ZELL AM SEE – SALZBURG
Travel to the musical town of Salzburg. The rest of the day is free at leisure OR take an optional tour to visit Hallstatt the ‘Pearl of the Salzkammergut’. Well-known by its breath-taking beauty, Hallstatt is considered by many visitors as one of the most beautiful lake side villages in the World. Overnight stay in Salzburg.
Day 6
SALZBURG
Today enjoy a Sound of Music tour. See the original film locations and relive the true story of the von Trapp family, filmed as the ‘Sound of Music’ in the Salzburg area. Enjoy the spectacular views of the scenic countryside and stop in picture perfect places such as Wolfgangsee and Mondsee. Overnight stay in Salzburg.
Day 7
SALZBURG – VIENNA
This morning, continue your journey through the countryside to the grand city of Vienna. This afternoon, embark on an orientation tour of this historic and extraordinary city which includes a visit to the Schönbrunn Palace. Overnight stay in Vienna.
Day 8
DEPART VIENNA
Today you will be transferred by private vehicle to Vienna airport for your flight back home.
