Cologne is a vibrant, modern city and is fast becoming the fine art capital of Germany, with museums dedicated to postmodern art, old masters like Rembrandt and a hopping gallery scene.

Berlin is the largest city in Germany and it is best known for its historical associations as the German capital. It offers a wonderful combination of history, night life, architecture and culture. Berlin has modest beginnings, but over time it grew into a European powerhouse and since reunification in 1990 it became into a dynamic and creative city.

Dresden, capital of the eastern German state of Saxony, is distinguished by the celebrated art museums and classic architecture of its reconstructed old town.

Nuremberg, a city in northern Bavaria, is distinguished by medieval architecture such as the fortifications and stone towers of its Altstadt (Old Town).

DAY 01 | Arrive Frankfurt – Cologne
Cologne, Germany
Welcome to Germany – The land of Festivals & Fairy-tales!
On arrival in Frankfurt, transfer from airport to train station in Frankfurt.
Board the train and travel to Cologne.
On arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own and check-in.
Cologne is Germany’s oldest city and, until the 19th century, the grandest – a status still reflected in the scores of spires that serrate its skyline, and its massive cathedral, or Dom.
Enjoy cruising on River Rhine (Shared boat).
In the afternoon, proceed to KD landing stages enjoy the cruise on River Rhine. Enjoy beautiful views of the city’s most important sights, such as the famous Cathedral and the fairground.

DAY 02 | Cologne – Berlin
Berlin, Germany
In the afternoon, check-out and transfer to the train station in Cologne.
Board the train and travel to Berlin.
On arrival, transfer on your own to the hotel and check-in.
Berlin has wonderful sights although it is not as centralized or small as other European cities. It is also known as one of the greenest cities in Europe.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

DAY 03 | Berlin
Berlin, Germany
Enjoy hop-on hop-off tour of Berlin (Seat in coach).
Today, explore Berlin on a hop-on hop-off tour.
Experience up close Berlin Mitte with the historical city centre and the new government district on a boat tour. Next, discover the hip areas of the city and the former Wall. Later, start at one of the 12 stops of your choice and explore the hotspots of the districts of Prenzlauer Berg, Mitte, Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, as well as the Berlin Wall Memorial, the Mauerpark and the world-famous East Side Gallery.

DAY 04 | Berlin – Dresden
Dresden, Germany
This morning, check-out and transfer to the train station in Berlin.
Board the train and travel to Dresden.
On arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own and check-in.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the state capital of Saxony.

DAY 05 | Dresden – Nuremberg
Nuremberg, Germany
In the morning, check-out and transfer to the train station in Dresden.
Board the train and make way to the next city – Nuremberg.
On arrival, proceed to the hotel on your own and check-in.
The rest of the day is at leisure to pursue individual activities.

DAY 06 | Nuremberg
Nuremberg, Germany
The day will be at leisure to discover Nuremberg at your pace.
You can visit the Germanische National museum, the “Tiergarten”, one of Europe’s most beautifully landscaped zoos, and many more.

DAY 07 | Nuremberg – Munich
Munich, Germany
Post breakfast, check-out and transfer to the train station in Nuremberg.
Board the train and travel to Munich.
On arrival, proceed to the hotel on your own and check-in.
Enjoy hop-on hop-off tour of Munich (Seat in coach).
This afternoon, enjoy Munich in an open air double-decker bus tour. The route invites you to discover the Palace of Nymphenburg, the former summer residence of the Bavarian Princes and Kings, with its beautiful and spacious gardens. Next, visit the Olympic Park where you will find other attractions like Sea Life, the BMW museum and the new BMW Car World, an amazing futuristic building with a great collection of cars, engines, motorbikes, photos, and future projects of BMW. Later, enjoy a fantastic panoramic view from the top of Olympic Tower. The tour continues to the former artist quarter of Schwabing where you may stroll along Leopold street.

DAY 08 | Munich
Munich, Germany
Explore the Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof (Seat in coach).
Today, visit the Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof on a guided tour. Neuschwanstein Castle was commissioned by Ludwig II as a retreat and was the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. The dream castle of Linderhof is built in French rococo style with its fantastic grotto and the Moorish pavilion.

DAY 09 | Munich – Heidelberg
Heidelberg, Germany
In the morning, check-out and transfer to the train station in Munich.
Board the train and travel to Heidelberg, the home of the oldest university in Germany.
On arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own and check-in.
The rest of the evening is at leisure for individual activities. Alternatively, you can explore the magnificent ruins of the 13th century neo-gothic Heidelberg Castle.

DAY 10 | Depart Heidelberg – Frankfurt
Heidelberg, Germany
Today, check-out and transfer to the train station in Heidelberg.
Board the train and travel to Frankfurt.
On arrival, transfer to the airport in Frankfurt on your own for your flight back home.
