DAY 01 | Arrive Colombo – Negombo
Negombo, Sri Lanka
Welcome to Negombo!

Negombo is a modest beach town in the western coastal area of Sri Lanka and is also home to the country’s second-largest fish market, the ‘Lellama’, at the north end of the town’s lagoon.
On arrival at the airport in Colombo , you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to the hotel in Negombo.

DAY 02 | Negombo -Sigiriya
Sigiriya, Sri Lanka
Post breakfast, transfer from hotel to airport in Negombo.
Embark a sea plane and transfer from Negombo to Sigiriya.
On arrival, proceed to check in at the hotel in Sigiriya.

DAY 03 | Sigiriya
Sigiriya, Sri Lanka
Enjoy a day trip to Anuradhapura (Private).
Enjoy visit to one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka – Anuradhapura. The ruins of Anuradhapura are one of South Asia’s most evocative sights. The sprawling complex contains a rich collection of archaeological and architectural wonders: enormous dagobas (brick stupas), ancient pools and crumbling temples. It was one of the greatest structures in the ancient world, its scale only matched by the pyramids of Giza. The Sri Maha Bodhi is a sacred bodhi tree and is central to Anuradhapura in both a spiritual and physical sense. It was grown from a cutting brought from Bodhgaya in India and is said to be the oldest historically authenticated tree in the world. Marvel at the stunning structure as you witness thousands of devotees come to make offerings, particularly on poya (full moon) days and weekends.

DAY 04 | Sigiriya – Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara eliya, Sri Lanka
Later, transfer from hotel in Sigiriya to hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Enjoy hot air ballooning with champagne breakfast (Private).

DAY 05 | Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara eliya, Sri Lanka
Enjoy a visit to the Horton Plains National Park (Private).
Enjoy a visit to the great plains of the central hills of Sri Lanka – the Horton plains or better known as Maha Eliya Tenna in Sinhalese. Located approximately 30 km from the town of Nuwara Eliya the place is known for its cooler climates, Horton Plains was discovered by the Colonial British, namely Governor Barnes & Sir Samuel Baker, who accounts for wanton shooting of elephants in Horton Plains in the name of entertainment. No elephants are to be seen here except for a few Elks, Stag and many endemic types of flora.

Visit a tea factory (Private).
Next, explore Sri Lanka as one of the world’s largest exporters of tea with a visit to the tea factory. Introduced to the country by British tea planter James Taylor in 1867,Sri Lanka is a roaring tea industry. In the wake of Sri Lanka’s coffee blight, British planters were quick to discover that tea was a more lucrative industry. A visit to a tea factory has become a staple of every Sri Lanka travel itinerary.

DAY 06 | Nuwara Eliya – Yala
Yala, Sri Lanka
This morning, transfer from hotel in Nuwara Eliya to hotel in Yala.
Home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants and crocodiles, Yala National Park is a huge area of forest, grassland and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean.

DAY 07 | Yala
Yala, Sri Lanka
Explore Yala National Park and enjoy a private beach barbeque dinner (Private).
Embark a Luxury Safari Jeep and travel to Yala National Park for an exciting game drive. Yala National Park is situated in Sri Lanka’s dry zone, made up of scrub jungles, water reservoirs, brackish lagoons, and riverine habitats. It has the highest population density of leopards in the world, and is also home to a herd of 300-350 elephants. Marvel at the sloth bears, black-naped hares, spotted deer, sambar, hanuman langurs, toque monkeys, stripe-necked and ruddy mongooses, wild boar, and golden jackal. Next, drive to a private beach and spend a few hours of tranquility in the cool waters before proceeding to enjoy a 4-course barbeque dinner with a glass or two of wine.

DAY 08 | Yala – Tangalle
Tangalle, Sri Lanka
This morning, transfer from hotel in Yala to resort in Tangalle in a private vehicle.
Experience Stilt Fishing in Tangalle (Private).
In the afternoon, experience stilt fishing better known as Ritipanna in Sinhalese. This is a traditional method of fishing practiced by most fishermen along the southern coast of Sri Lanka. This art is popularly seen in areas such as Ahangama, Koggala, Welipenna, Kathaluwa and Thalarambe. From a list of ‘things to do’ in Sri Lanka, travelers often include stilt fishing as an excellent opportunity to test their skills. A narrow pole is tied to a stick that is anchored on the sea bed. Fisher folk climb onto this stick and settle on the pole for a few hours in an effort to catch some fish.

DAY 09 | Tangalle
Tangalle, Sri Lanka
Enjoy a visit to the Galle Fort (Private).
Enjoy a visit to a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka: The Galle Fort, or Dutch Fort. It is a fortification first built by the Portuguese on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. The fort underwent extensive modifications in the 17th century by the Dutch, making it one of the most important archeological, architectural and historic monuments to illustrate the European influence in South East Asia between the 16th and 19th centuries. Marvel at the unique exposition of an urban ensemble which illustrates the interaction of European architecture and South Asian traditions.

DAY 10 | Tangalle – Colombo
Colombo, Sri Lanka
Today morning, post breakfast, transfer from your resort in Tangalle to your hotel in Colombo .
Discover Colombo on a city tour in an open Jeep (Private).
Explore Colombo on a city tour in an open air jeep. Enjoy an unobstructed 360 degree visibility offering you great opportunity to take photographs and film while sightseeing. Highlights involve about 20 archaeological and tourists attraction sites including Attidiya bird sanctuary and Galle Face Green.

DAY 11 | Depart Colombo

Today, you will be transferred from hotel to airport in Colombo for your flight back home.
