DAY 01 | Arrive Muscat
Muscat, Oman
Welcome to Oman! On arrival at the airport in Muscat, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to the hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city.

None (meals on your own).

DAY 02 | Muscat
Muscat, Oman
Explore Muscat on a city tour (Private).
This morning, embark on a city tour of Muscat and witness a modern commercial center existing in harmony with its traditional culture. The highlights include a visit to the natural harbour, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Bait Al Zubair Museum. Drive past the waterfront Corniche and visit the colourful Mutrah Souq, Fish Market and Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.

• Ladies to be fully covered along with a head scarf.
• Men to dress appropriately.
• Grand Mosque and Bait Al Zubair Museum remains closed for visitors on Fridays.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

DAY 03 | Muscat
Muscat, Oman
Embark on a dolphin watching tour (Seat in coach).
Post breakfast transfer from Muscat hotel to the Marina to embark on a boat to search for Dolphins.
Watching wild dolphins is a thrilling way to start the day and the lucky may even come across whales that can be found just a few kilometres from Muscat’s rugged coast. Not every trip guarantees a sighting, but you are sure to enjoy a trip out to sea and enhance your knowledge of nature’s most fascinating marine mammals.
Return to the Marina and proceed back to the hotel

The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

DAY 04 | Muscat- Jebel Akhdar
Jabal akhdar, Oman
Transfer from hotel in Muscat to resort in Jebel Akhdar, en route enjoy tour of the ancient town of Nizwa (Private).
Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Jebel Shams. Visit the ancient city of Nizwa, the capital of the interior and the birthplace of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman. Nizwa boasts of the famous Round Tower Fort, built in the 17th century and its Souq renowned for its Friday cattle auction, intricately hand-carved “Khanjars” (daggers) & ornamental silver jewellery. We proceed to Wadi Al Madeen where there is a check post. From here a 36 km stretch of winding road takes one to Jebel Akhdar (2000 mts above sea level) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Enjoy the cool climate up in the mountains. Al Jebel Al Akhdar is famed for its fruit orchards typically laid out terrace style along the slopes of mountains, which are endowed with natural springs and aflaj. Next, visit the villages of Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib and Al Ain which dot the landscape. The villages overlook a spectacular landscape of dramatic peaks, gorges and wadis. The roses of Al Jabal Al Akhdar fill the air with fragrance when in full bloom (March / April).

DAY 05 | Jebel Shams- Al Hamra
Al hamra, Oman
Transfer from resort in Jebel Shams to hotel in Al Hamra, en route visit the villages of Misfah and Wadi Ghul (Private).
Post breakfast, travel to Wadi Nakher (Oman’s Grand Canyon) which is situated at the bottom Jebel Shams. En route visit Misfah a scenic mountain village. In recent years it has become an attractive tourist destination. The village boasts of amazing agricultural terraces, beautiful alleys and old houses built on top of solid rocks. Next, stop at the farming village of Wadi Ghul from where you can marvel at the views of highest peak in the Jebel Shams mountain range. Later, proceed to the hotel in Al Hamra.

DAY 06 | Al Hamra – Wahiba- Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve
Ras al-jinz, Oman
Transfer from the hotel in Al Hamra to resort in Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve, en route visit Wahiba Sands (Private).
Post breakfast, proceed to the sand dunes in Wahiba, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand and dunes. View the beautiful variety of flora and fauna. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. Experience a roller coaster like feeling as you drive you over the dunes. The Wahiba Sands is also home to the traditional Bedouin tribe who are known for their hospitality and their knowledge of the sands. Next, stop by a Bedouin family in their traditional and simple habitat. Enjoy dune driving before leaving the desert. Continue your journey to Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve.

Enjoy watching the turtles at the Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve (Private).
Later, visit Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve, famous for nesting of the endangered species of turtles. Enjoy watching the turtles return to their nest and learn in detail about the wonders of these ancient creatures.

DAY 07 | Depart Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve – Muscat
Muscat, Oman
Departure transfer from resort in Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve to airport in Muscat, en route visit the Dhow Factory in Sur, Fins Beach and Bimmah Sink Hole (Private).
Today, proceed to Muscat. En route stop at Sur to visit The Dhow factory and a fish jetty. Drive via scenic and rugged coastal route to Muscat. Next, stop for a while at Fins beach. Proceed to the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. Later, continue towards the airport for your onward journey.
