Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad
Welcome to your ‘Divine Trail with Beaches ’ tour! On arrival at the airport / railway station in Ahmedabad, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Later, proceed on a half day city tour of Ahmedabad, including a visit to Gandhi Ashram, Calico Museum, Utensils Museum, the Jama Masjid and Akshardham.
The evening is at leisure. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

Day 2: On to Bhavnagar via Lothal (172 km / approx. 4 hours drive)
This morning, drive to Bhavnagar, located at the Southern tip of Peninsula Gujarat. Its principle port Ghogha at the entrance to the Gulf of Cambay, has been a predominant city for trade and commerce. En route, visit the Lothal Harappan archaeological site, one of the most prominent cities of the ancient Indus valley civilization. The world’s earliest known Lothal’s dock, connected the city to an ancient course of the Sabarmati river on the trade route between Harappan cities in Sindh and the peninsula of Saurashtra when the surrounding Kutch desert of today was a part of the Arabian Sea. It was a vital and thriving trade center in ancient times, with its trade of beads, gems and valuable ornaments reaching the far corners of West Asia and Africa.
On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Bhavnagar. (B)

Day 3: On to Diu (approx 220 km / approx. 5 hours 30 minutes drive)
Today, your journey takes you to one of India’s undiscovered gems; where the sand, sea and sky meet in harmony Diu. On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Later in the afternoon, visit Gangeshwar Temple where the gentle sea waves offer their obeisance to the ‘Shiva Lingas’ in stone. Proceed to St. Thomas church, converted into a museum and housing antique statues, various stone inscriptions of the earlier rules, wooden carvings, idols, shadow-clocks and other important artifacts.
The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight in Diu. (B)

Day 4: Excursion to Somnath (83 km / approx. 3 hours drive)
Morning after breakfast, visit Somnath Temple, a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. The most interesting fact about the Somnath Temple is that it has been rebuilt and destroyed six times. The present structure was rebuilt the seventh time.
The rest of the day is at leisure. One can visit Ghogla Beach, which is amongst the six beautiful beaches in Diu district.
Overnight in Diu. (B)

Day 5: Depart Diu – Veraval (83 km / approx. 2 hours drive)
Today, bid farewell to ‘Divine Trail with Beaches ‘ tour, as you are transferred to the railway station in Veraval for your onward journey. (B)
