DAY 01 | Arrive Athens
Athens, Greece
Welcome to Greece – the land of ancient history and breathtaking scenery!
On arrival in Athens, you will be welcomed by your Cox & Kings representative and transferred to your hotel.
Athens, the capital of Greece, is a city that attacks the senses and stirs the spirit as only the cradle of western civilization can. This city has the most glorious history in the world.
Enjoy a night tour of Athens followed by a traditional Greek dinner and live music (Seat in coach).
Later, in the evening, enjoy a night tour of Athens. Enjoy a short panoramic drive through the city centre and at the slope of the sacred hill admire the illuminated Acropolis. Next, walk through the narrow picturesque streets of Plaka, the old city. Proceed to a typical Greek tavern where you enjoy your dinner followed by a floor show with live music and Greek folk dances in traditional costumes.
Note: Athens by night tour operates only on Tues / Wed / Thurs / Sat.

DAY 02 | Athens

Enjoy a city tour of Athens (Seat in coach).
This morning, enjoy a city tour of Athens. See the Panathenaic stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Continue and pass by the famous landmarks such as the Prime’s Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, The Arch of Hadrian, St. Paul’s Angelican Church, The Greek Parliament Building, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman’s House (Numismatic Museum), The Cathedral Basilica of St. Dionysius the Areopagite, The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, National Library of Greece, Old Parliament House, Constitution Square and the Russian Orthodox Church. Proceed to Acropolis, the crowning glory of ancient Athens and visit the architectural masterpieces of the golden age of Athens, The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon. End the tour with a visit the Acropolis Museum and admire the wonders of the classical era.

DAY 03 | Athens – Mykonos Island

This morning, transfer from hotel to ferry terminal in Athens to board your ferry to Mykonos Island.
Travel from Athens to Mykonos Island by ferry.
On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Mykonos Island.
This island is the cosmopolitan jewel of the Aegean Sea and is one of the prime holiday destinations in the world. It has magnificent beaches, picturesque whitewashed villages, charming cafes, bars by the seafront and some of the most beautiful view in the Cyclades Islands, make this a wonderful and unforgettable vacation getaway.

DAY 05 | Mykonos Island – Santorini

This morning, transfer from hotel to ferry terminal in Mykonos Island to board your ferry to Santorini.
Travel from Mykonos Island to Santorini by ferry.
On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Santorini.
Crescent shaped Santorini (or Thira), is the precious gem of the Aegean. Only the name of the island is enough to unfold in mind the volcanic landscape, gray and red beaches, dazzling white houses, terraces with panoramic sea views and stunning sunsets!

DAY 06 | Santorini
Santorini, Greece
The day is at leisure to explore the mysterious ‘Black Pearl of the Aegean’, which is the most breathtaking of all the Greek islands. You can opt to climb the volcano and swim in the lovely hot springs!

DAY 07 | Santorini – Heraklion
Heraklion, Greece
This morning, transfer to ferry terminal in Santorini for your ferry to Heraklion.
Travel from Santorini to Heraklion.
On arrival in Heraklion, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. It is the capital of Crete and one of the Mediterranean region’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful port city.

DAY 08 | Heraklion

The day is at leisure to explore this port city famous for its history, churches, fountains, forts and archaeological museums.

DAY 09 | Heraklion
Heraklion, Greece
The day is at leisure for independent activities. You can take an optional excursion to Phaestos, Gortys and Matala. Gortys is a famous archaeological site, Phaestos, is the centre of Minoan civilization and Matala, is known for its wonderful sandy beach and the caves carved into the rocks.

DAY 10 | Depart Heraklion
Heraklion, Greece
Today, you will be transferred to the airport in Heraklion for your flight back home via Athens.
