DAY 01 | Arrive Vienna
Vienna, Austria
Welcome to Austria – a place of exuberant palaces, baroque abbeys and scenic landscapes!
On arrival in Vienna, you will be welcomed by our local Cox & Kings representative and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a city tour of Vienna (Seat in coach).
Later in the afternoon, get an overview of Vienna on a city tour.
Get introduced to the most important sights of the Austrian capital as you drive around the famous ‘Ringstrasse’, Vienna’s main boulevard and admire its magnificent buildings. Enjoy a visit to the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Austrian Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. Later, visit the Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburgs and tour some of the magnificently decorated rooms of the palace. Return to the city centre, as you drive past the Belvedere Palace.

DAY 02 | Vienna – Salzburg
Salzburg, Austria
This morning post breakfast, check out from hotel and make your way to the train station in Vienna to board train for Salzburg.
Embark onboard the train and travel from Vienna to Salzburg.
On arrival in Salzburg, proceed independently and check in at the hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Salzburg at your own pace. You can opt to visit Hallstatt the ‘Pearl of the Salzkammergut’.

DAY 03 | Salzburg
Salzburg, Austria
Experience the Sound of Music Show (Seat in coach).
This morning, after a filling breakfast, experience head out on Sound of Music tour.
See the original film locations and relive the true story of the von Trapp family, from the American musical drama film, ‘Sound of Music’. The tour is a popular one since 1967, when it was first offered, and is a combination of sightseeing in this historical city itself and in the beautiful lakes and mountains area known as the Salzkammergut, which is also a famous musical and cultural centre.
Continue to the beautiful town of Mondsee, where you will explore the setting of the film’s wedding at the Mondsee Cathedral.

DAY 04 | Salzburg – Innsbruck
Innsbruck, Austria
This morning post breakfast, check out from the hotel and make your way to the train station in Salzburg to board train for Innsbruck.
Travel by train from Salzburg to Innsbruck.
On arrival in Innsbruck, proceed independently and check in at the hotel.
Enjoy rest of the day at leisure to explore the beautiful city of Innsbruck.

DAY 05 | Innsbruck
Innsbruck, Austria
Discover the Swarovski Crystal World (Seat in coach).
Today post a sumptuous breakfast; head out to visit the Swarovski Crystal World.
Explore the unique and marvellous crystals at the Swarovski Crystal World. The “Home of the Giant” now inspires with a new poetic garden, which features a unique Crystal Cloud made from 800,000 hand-mounted and enchanted floating crystals. This mystical masterpiece is the largest of its kind worldwide and with it Swarovski has set the new standard for brilliantly implemented installations. The Crystal Cloud draws visitors to the Mirror Pool where the sparkling light of the crystals is captured to form a sea of stars both day and night.

DAY 06 | Innsbruck – Vienna
Vienna, Austria
This morning after a sumptuous breakfast, check out from the hotel and make your way to the train station in Innsbruck to board the train for Vienna.
Board the train from Innsbruck and travel to Vienna.
On arrival in Vienna, proceed on your own and check in to the hotel.
Enjoy rest of the day at leisure to explore the city of Vienna.

DAY 07 | Depart Vienna
Vienna, Austria
Today, you will be transferred from hotel to the airport in Vienna for your flight back home.
