DAY 01 | Arrive Vienna
Vienna, Austria
Welcome to Austria – a place of exuberant palaces, baroque abbeys and scenic landscapes!
On arrival in Vienna, you will be welcomed by our local Cox & Kings representative and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a half day city tour of Vienna (Seat in coach).
Later in the afternoon, get an overview of Vienna on a city tour. Get introduced to the most important sights of the Austrian capital as you drive around the famous ‘Ringstrasse’, Vienna’s main boulevard and admire its magnificent buildings. Enjoy a visit to the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Austrian Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. Later, visit the Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburgs and tour some of the magnificently decorated rooms of the palace. Return to the city centre, as you drive past the Belvedere palace.

DAY 02 | Vienna – Salzburg
Salzburg, Austria
This morning, transfer from hotel to train station in Vienna to board the train for Salzburg.
Travel from Vienna to Salzburg.
On arrival in Salzburg, check in to the hotel.
The day is at leisure to explore Salzburg or you can opt to visit Hallstatt the ‘Pearl of the Salzkammergut’.

DAY 03 | Salzburg
Salzburg, Austria
Experience the Sound of Music Show (Seat in coach).
This morning, experience the Salzburg Sound of Music Show. Relive the true story of the Von Trapp family which was filmed in the movie ‘Sound of Music’ and get to see the original film locations as well. Enjoy the spectacular views of the scenic countryside and stop in picture perfect places such as Wolfgangsee and Mondsee.
Note: The tour starts from a city centre point. Transportation to and from the hotel is not included.

DAY 04 | Salzburg – Innsbruck
Innsbruck, Austria
This morning, transfer from hotel to train station in Salzburg to board train for Innsbruck.
Travel by train from Salzburg to Innsbruck.
On arrival in Innsbruck, check in to the hotel.
Enjoy a visit to the Swarovski Crystal World (Seat in coach).
Later, visit the Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens. It is a world of fantasy, an adventure museum with crystals, light and sound designs.

The rest of the evening is at leisure. Why not enjoy shopping in the city centre or browse for souvenirs and exquisite gifts in the plethora of little shops in the Old Town.

DAY 05 | Innsbruck – Interlaken
Interlaken, Switzerland
This morning, transfer from hotel to train station in Innsbruck.
Travel from Innbruck to Interlaken.
On arrival in Interlaken, proceed and check in to the hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this scenic city or you can take various optional activities like an excursion in Interlaken or visit Harder Kulm.

DAY 06 | Interlaken
Interlaken, Switzerland
Embark on a full day excursion to Schilthorn Mountain (On your own).
Today enjoy your full day Schilthorn Mountain excursion. Marvel at the spectacular views of the famous Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains.
Note: Free for Swiss pass holder.

DAY 07 | Interlaken – Lucerne
Lucerne, Switzerland
This morning, transfer on your own from hotel to train station in Interlaken.
Travel from Interlaken to Lucerne.
On arrival in Lucerne, check in to the hotel.
This scenic city is situated by the shores of Lake Lucerne, with the mountain peaks of Rigi and Pilatus which are clearly visible in the distance and offers panoramic views.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities or you can opt to take an Indian Dinner Cruise on Lake Lucerne or you can explore the city by foot along it’s lakesides quays and the streets of the old town.

DAY 08 | Lucerne
Lucerne, Switzerland
Enjoy a full day visit to Mt Titlis with Ice Flyer and Glacier Park (Entrance only).
Enjoy an excursion to Mt.Titlis which is the jewel of central Switzerland. Board the train from Lucerne which takes you to the mountain monastery village Engelberg. Board Rotair the rotating cable car for panoramic views of alpine glaciers and ice boulders. Marvel at the snow and ice on top of Mt.Titlis on the chairlift Ice Flyer. The Ice Flyer takes you directly to the Glacier Park, an ideal fun destination where you can try out all kinds of sledging equipments such as Snow tubes, Balance and Snake Gliss. The ascent is easy and effortless with the Magic Carpet moving walkway. The child in you will be inspired to have a snowball-fight!

Transfer from hotel to train station in Lucerne.
