Explore the capital and romantic city of Vienna. It is known for its Imperial palaces, including Schonbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence amongst its other historical sites. The city is is also famous for its coffee and a type of chocolate cake, Sachertorte.

Discover musical city of Salzburg, which has been an endless source of inspiration to the prince-archbishops who created its mighty baroque churches and the famous son Mozart, whose symphonies regularly headline the Salzburg Festival.

Traverse through the medieval Old Town of Innsbruck, home to imperial palaces, world-class galleries and Zaha Hadid’s avant-garde designs. Alpine views are around every corner and ski slopes just a funicular ride from the city center here.

Spend a day at leisure in the town of Zell am See, located directly on the shores of Lake Zell and offers a wide range of possibilities to enjoy in the Salzburger Land including swimming beaches, open-air pools, the lakeside promenade and all kinds of water sport that let you quickly forget everyday life.

DAY 01 | Arrive Innsbruck

Welcome to Austria – The Alpine Wonderland. On arrival in Innsbruck, the capital of the Alps make your way to the hotel and check in.
The rest of the day is at leisure. You can opt to enjoy the Hafelekar a Nordkette cable car ride and take in the wonderful views of the landscape as you ascend the highest view point..

DAY 02 | Innsbruck

Discover the Swarovski Crystal World (Seat in coach).
Today post a sumptuous breakfast; head out to visit the Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens.
Explore the unique and marvelous crystals at the Swarovski Crystal World. The “Home of the Giant” now inspires with a new poetic garden, which features a unique Crystal Cloud made from 800,000 hand-mounted and enchanted floating crystals. This mystical masterpiece is the largest of its kind worldwide and with it Swarovski has set the new standard for brilliantly implemented installations. The Crystal Cloud draws visitors to the Mirror Pool where the sparkling light of the crystals is captured to form a sea of stars both day and night.

DAY 03 | Innsbruck – Zell am See

This morning post breakfast, check out from the hotel and make your way the train station in Innsbruck for your train Zell am See.
Travel from Innsbruck to Zell am See.
On arrival in Zell am Seecheck, proceed independently to the hotel and check in.
The picturesque lakeside town of Zell am See offers miles of local slopes and panoramic views. The neighbouring town of Kaprun is famed for its glacier skiing.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this scenic town.

DAY 04 | Zell am See

The day is at leisure to explore this scenic town. You can opt to take a boat ride on the crystal clear Lake Zell.

DAY 05 | Zell am See – Salzburg
Salzburg, Austria
Today post breakfast, check out from the hotel and make your way to the train station in Zell am to board your train to Salzburg.
Get on board the train and travel to the musical town of Salzburg.
On arrival in Salzburg, Mozart’s home city, proceed independently to the hotel and check in.
The rest of the day is at leisure to discover the treasures, secrets and special features of this baroque enchanting city.

DAY 06 | Salzburg
Salzburg, Austria
Embark on the Sound of Music tour (Seat in coach).
This morning after a filling breakfast, head out on the Salzburg Sound of Music tour.
See the original film locations and relive the true story of the von Trapp family, from the American musical drama film, ‘Sound of Music’. The tour is a popular one since 1967, when it was first offered, and is a combination of sightseeing in this historical city itself and in the beautiful lakes and mountains area known as the Salzkammergut, which is also a famous musical and cultural centre.
Continue to the beautiful town of Mondsee, where you will explore the setting of the film’s wedding at the Mondsee Cathedral.

DAY 07 | Salzburg – Vienna
Vienna, Austria
This morning post breakfast, check out and make your way to the train station in Salzburg for your onward journey to Vienna.
Travel by train from Salzburg to Vienna.
On arrival in Vienna, proceed independently and check in to the hotel.
A compact and delightful capital city of Austria, can be explored by foot. Admire its majestic buildings and stroll through pristine parks. relax over coffee and cake, explore museums and art galleries, swing high above on the Prater Wheel and as dusk falls enjoy a glass of local wine by the ‘blue’ River Danube.
Enjoy a city tour of Vienna (Seat in coach).
Later head to explore the attractions of Vienna.
Drive around the famous Ringstrasse, Vienna’s main boulevard and marvel at its magnificent structures. Drive by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Austrian Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University.
Later, visit the Schonbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburgs and tour some of the magnificently decorated rooms of the palace. Return back to the city centre, as you drive past the Belvedere Palace.

DAY 08 | Depart Vienna
Vienna, Austria
Today post breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in Vienna for your flight back home.
