Greece offers a myriad of experiences, landscapes and activities. Athens, the capital city is homeland to gods, goddesses and some of the world’s greatest philosophers and athletes. The city boasts of iconic ancient temples like the Acropolis and its iconic Parthenon and glorious parks and beaches.
Olympia is scenic with its shady groves of pine, olive, and oak trees. This small town is famous for its remains of two temples and the stadium where the first Olympic races were run in 776 B.C. It is the most beautiful site in the Peloponnese.

Delphi is the big enchilada of Greek sites. This ancient city has a glorious history, spectacular ancient remains, museums and a beautiful location on the slopes of Mount Parnassus.

A drive across the plain of Thessaly showcases a cluster of gnarled black humps and peaks outside the town of Kalambaka.

DAY 01 | Arrive Athens
Athens, Greece
Welcome to Greece, the land of ancient history and breathtaking scenery!
On arrival in Athens, you will be welcomed by our Yes Genie representative and transferred to your hotel.
Athens, the capital of Greece, is a city that attacks the senses and stirs the spirit as only the cradle of western civilization can. This city has the most glorious history in the world and is worshipped by gods and people.
Enjoy a night tour of Athens followed by a traditional Greek dinner and live music (Seat in coach).
Later, in the evening, enjoy a night tour of Athens. Enjoy a short panoramic drive through the city centre and at the slope of the sacred hill admire the illuminated Acropolis. Next, walk through the narrow picturesque streets of Plaka, the old city. Proceed to a typical Greek tavern where you enjoy your dinner followed by a floor show with live music and Greek folk dances in traditional costumes.

DAY 02 | Athens
Athens, Greece
Enjoy a city tour of Athens (Seat in coach).
This morning, enjoy a city tour of Athens. See the Panathenaic stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Continue and pass by the famous landmarks such as the Prime’s Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, The Arch of Hadrian , St. Paul’s Angelican Church, The Greek Parliament Buliding, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman’s House (Numismatic Museum), The Cathedral Basilica of St. Dionysius the Areopagite, The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, National Library of Greece, Old Parliament House, Constitution Square and the Russian Orthodox Church. Proceed to Acropolis, the crowning glory of ancient Athens and visit the architectural masterpieces of the golden age of Athens, The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon. End the tour with a visit the Acropolis Museum and admire the wonders of the classical era.

DAY 03 | Athens – Olympia
Olympia, Greece
Transfer from hotel in Athens to hotel in Olympia, en route visit Corinth Canal, Epidaurus and the Tomb of Agamemnon (Seat in coach).
Today, travel to Olympia. En route drive by New Olympic Stadium in Athens and was the main venue in the 2004 Olympics. Later, visit Corinth Canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. Drive to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics. Proceed to Nauplia and through the plain of Argos and arrive at Mycenae. On arrival, visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Next, you can go shopping for souvenirs. Continue your journey to Olympia, the birth place of the Olympic Games, through the cities of Tripolis and Megalopolis. On arrival, proceed and check in to the hotel.

DAY 04 | Olympia – Delphi
Delphi, Greece
Transfer from hotel in Olympia to hotel in Delphi, en route enjoy a sightseeing tour of Olympia (Seat in coach).
Post breakfast, travel to Delphi. En route visit the archaeological sites including Temple of Zeus, temple of Hera, altar of the Olympic Flame, Olympic Stadium and archaeological museum. Continue your journey via Patras and Rion, to cross the Corinthian Bay by the new bridge to Antirion. Next, drive by the city of Nafpaktos along the coastal road to Delphi. In the afternoon, visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova. It is known for its wines, the amazing cheese products, the shaggy rugs and woollen weavings.
Later, proceed and check in to the hotel.

DAY 05 | Delphi – Kalambaka
Kalambaka, Greece
Transfer from hotel in Delphi to hotel in Kalambaka, en route visit the museum of Delphi (Seat in coach).
After breakfast, visit the museum of Delphi. The museum’s collection displays some of the finest chronicles from history dating from the 15th century BC to the 4th century AD, including the many magnificent treasures donated from places throughout the classical world. Continue your journey to Kalambaka via Central Greece.
Kalambaka is a small town built at the foot of the majestic and unique grey rocks, crowned by the Meteora Monasteries.
On arrival, proceed and check in to the hotel.

DAY 06 | Kalambaka – Athens
Athens, Greece
Transfer from hotel in Kalambaka to hotel in Athens, en route visit the Monasteries at Meteora (Seat in coach).
Post breakfast, enjoy a visit to the ageless monasteries perched high atop the huge rocks of Meteora. Later, you will proceed on drive to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and passing by the monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae.
Trikala is one of the places touted as the birthplace of physician god Asklepios, whose old sanctuary Asklepeion, is located in the city’s central square. Proceed to Lamia, the chief town Phthiotis, is believed in ancient times to be the home of Achilles lying at the foot of Mount Othrys. Continue your journey to Athens and check in to the hotel.
